I wanted to send you a note to say I met one of your labs. Unfortunately I met her under extremely sad conditions. My brother-in-law is one of the missing in the World Trade Center tower 1 from the company Cantor Fitzgerald. I met this female dog at the resource center in NYC at the pier. Her owner is Pat Dickinson ( I hope I spelled it right). Your dog was at the center to help us all deal with our grief. My sister decided that she wanted to see the last place her husband was that horrible morning so off we went to ground zero. On the ferry trip to the financial center this dog picked up that my sister was extremely sad and she proceeded to make her smile with her warmth and love. This dogs temperament was to be admired and loved. The whole time we were on the ferry she gave love unconditional. When we arrived at ground zero and disembarked, the police and construction workers took off their hats and in a somber way saluted us as we passed by. My sister has two children Jake 4 and Allison 7. Her birthday was a week later after their father was listed as missing. My sister's life has been turned upside down with this tragedy. The children are having their troubles with the situation but with therapy they will overcome the problems. I noticed how my sister's face changed while she was dealing with the yellow lab. My sister and brother-in-law were going to get Alli a dog but this was not to be, for he was taken away too soon. You are probably wondering why I am explaining this to you. I was wondering if you have any pups available or an older dog that would have that type of personality, calm, loving, and wanting to be loved. My sister fell in love with the yellow lab on the ferry. The therapist feels that a dog would do wonders for my niece and nephew not to mention my sister. Animals can do wonders for people. I am inquiring if you have any pups or anything that is calm. The other issue we have is cost, I hope that you would have something that we could afford to get at this time. As you can imagine my sisters husband was her whole world, she did not work. He provided for everything but he did not know to assure her how to move on. My sister has a home with 1 acre of land, in the town of Holmdel, NJ. I would appreciate if you could assist us in any way with getting a good loving dog for Allie and my sister. I am so skeptical about pet shops and local people that breed dogs for the money not for the quality. I am sure that your pups are champions but the pup we need is only to be used as a therapy and pet for life. The dog cannot replace her dad but it can help ease the pain. Yesterday we had to accept that Eric will never come home as well as the other 700 employees from Cantor Fitzgerald. Please let me know any options or info that you can give me. All info is greatly appreciated. Please email me at srges-- and sross--. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

We are working on it and will get back to you tomorrow.
A couple of questions;
Is the yard at your sister's fenced? Would she prefer an older dog right away or a puppy in Feb.?
The only puppy we have now is a chocolate male (3 weeks) but we will have yellow puppies ready in Feb.
We do have a female in our breeding stock who is out of our Midas and a sister to the mother of Pat Dickinson's Kate. She's about three and has
